AFG, the Allied Fs Group is a freeware flightsim developer group, based around Microsoft FlightSimulator versions 2000 and newer. The Group was founded in late August 2000, when Håkon Søreide and Sverre Kvåle decided to put forward a site for Håkon's aircraft. The initial group name was AFD. Allied fs Design Group. PFD, Precision Design Group with Ian Grant and Patrick Wink was asked to join. Later FSDG, Flightsim Design Group also joined. After this the name AFG was selected as it better reflects the group. Other very talented designers were also contacted, many of whom joined. |
The group idea is to let talented designers come together to share their ideas, and together put forward highly enjoyable freeware files. These files are for all you out there to enjoy. We are interested in your inputs and comments. These can be given to us either via the forum or through personalized e-mail (all adresses to the individual designers can be found in the member roter). |
Please note that when we talk about FREEWARE, it means we offer the files contained on our site for free, but they are for your personal use and enjoyment only. You may even share the files with your friends. Virtual Airlines wanting to paint aircraft will have to contact the group to obtain authorization to do so.
