Guys and gals,

we're happy to present you the next aircraft eager to get out of our hangar, the BAe 146/Avro RJ!

A little background on the project: The aircraft designer is Paul Hannity a long time member of the FS community. You'll find some of his earlier works including an earlier version of the BAe 146 at Avsim for you to wet your apetites with: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=root&SearchTerm=paul+hannity&Sort=Added&ScanMode=0&Go=Change+View

Paul is a pilot with Aer Lingus, and although he's not flying the BAe 146 now, he used to fly it so he's got the best possible outcome for making the most realistic BAe 146 yet! The BAe project has been running for a great many years now, the project was originally going for a payware release, but thankfully Paul is now at AFG and it will be a freeware project. The plan is to release the aircraft with a panel, virtual cockpit, realistic sounds as well as all the bells and whistles you've grown accustomed to from us and most other freeware developers.

Some images to wet your apetite. Bear in mind this is still a work in progress and we'll give no release dates yet, so no need in asking.

Got one more shot to add to this...
1st ever special effect showing the jet fuel residue rainbow effect on the cockpit windows,as is seen in real life on just about every aircraft out there...

Now this is what I call attention to detail....

Initially it's for FS9 only. I have tested it in FSX and so far it looks promising. I'm not sure about the panel though.

Very good new that you have this big little liner in the workshop. I have a good remind of those operating between LFSB and LFPG. It was in the middl 90s, at this moment there was an agrement between Crossair and Air Inter. Air Inter was operating the flights to/from Orly and hired crossair for the flight from to Roissy. Then, when buying an Air Inter flight Paris - Bâle Mulhouse and asking a departure from Roissy, we could benefict of all the comfort of the Crossair flights for the price of the basic Air Inter ticket 8)

Crossair was also very productive of various liveries. If we get a paint-kit as good as what you did for the Caravelle, we have great time in front ;)

My apetite is now wet like a dishcloths and I hardly refrain from asking stupid questions
